What is Claris?
Claris takes its name from clarity, the quality we believe every piece of fine jewellery deserves to hold, and the quality we bring to the everyday.
Claris Diamond was born on Sydney's Northern Beaches, founded by two friends with a shared history in the fine jewellery industry and a shared frustration: there was no easy, elegant way to keep the pieces they wore every day looking as brilliant as the day they bought them. Not a soak-and-wait ritual, not a trip to the jeweller, just something considered.
So we created a jewellery cleaning pen, compact enough for a handbag, considered enough for a bathroom shelf, and precise enough to restore brilliance in moments. Designed for anyone who believes a little clarity goes a long way.
What is the Claris Diamond Signature Cleaning Pen?
The Signature Cleaning Pen is a jewellery cleaning pen formulated specifically for fine jewellery. Considered care for diamonds and precious metals, restoring brilliance in under a minute.
What's included with the Claris Diamond Cleaning Pen?
Each set includes the Signature Cleaning Pen — a brushed aluminium, gold-finish pen with a twist mechanism and brush applicator tip — along with a microfibre polishing cloth, presented in our signature carton.
How do I use it?
Twist to activate. Turn the base of the pen until the formula begins to foam at the brush tip, that's your sign it's ready.
Brush gently. Using soft, circular motions, work the brush over the piece to lift oils, product buildup and everyday grime. No need to press hard.
Rinse and buff dry. Rinse under warm water, then buff dry with the Claris polishing cloth for a brilliant, finished shine. Store the pen upright in your bag or on your vanity for next time.
How often should I use it?
As often as suits your routine, we find a quick pass once a a week keeps everyday pieces looking their best.
How long does shipping take?
Australia wide shipping
We aim to process all orders within 48 hours (Monday to Friday). Please allow extra time during sales, launches, public holidays or festive season.

What is your returns policy?
We offer a 30-day return policy, which means you have 30 days after receiving your item to request a return.
To be eligible for a return:
Your item must be in the same condition you received it — unopened, unused, and in its original packaging.
Proof of purchase is required.
Opened or used items cannot be returned due to hygiene reasons.

Once your return is accepted, we'll send you instructions on how and where to send your package.
Important: Items sent back to us without first requesting a return will not be accepted.
We recommend using a trackable shipping method, as Claris Diamond is not responsible for returns lost in transit.
Final Sale: Items marked as Final Sale are not eligible for return or refund.
What do I do if my item is damaged?
Please inspect your order as soon as you receive it.
If your item is defective, damaged (including damage during shipping), or if you received the wrong item, contact us immediately at hello@clarisdiamond.com with photos. We'll evaluate the issue and make it right.
Do you offer refunds?
We'll notify you once we've received and inspected your return, and let you know if the refund is approved.
If approved, your refund will be automatically processed back to your original payment method within 10 business days.
Please note it may take additional time for your bank or credit card company to process and post the refund.
If more than 15 business days have passed since we approved your return and you have not received your refund, please contact us at hello@clarisdiamond.com.
What ingredients are in the formula?
Purified water
The base of the formula.
Soapnut, Chinese honey locust, tea-seed
Plant-derived cleaning agents, extracted using purified water only.
Sodium citrate
Helps balance the formula and support cleaning performance.
Glucoside, APG
A mild, plant-derived surfactant that helps lift dirt and oils.
EDTA-2Na
A chelating agent that helps stabilise the formula.
Salt
Supports formula texture and consistency.
Soybean extract
A plant-derived cleaning agent, extracted using purified water only.
Is it safe?
The finished formula is classified as not hazardous under EC 1272/2008 regulatory standards — it isn't flammable and requires no special handling or storage. As with any cleaning product, we'd always recommend patch-testing on a discreet area first, particularly with plated, treated or delicate pieces.
What jewellery can I clean with it?
The Signature Cleaning Pen is designed for fine jewellery. We'd avoid it on pearls, emeralds, opals, turquoise and other soft or porous gemstones, which can be sensitive to moisture and light abrasion, a professional jeweller's clean is the better option for these. For plated or treated pieces, we'd suggest a gentler approach and a test spot first, rather than assuming it's suitable for every finish.
Why can't I use it on pearls or opals?
These materials are naturally softer and more porous than diamonds and most precious metals, which makes them more susceptible to moisture and surface abrasion over time. We'd rather you keep them looking their best with a method suited to their particular care needs.
